You should consider researching the best time for visiting Disneyland. Some days are much better than others at the park. The days that you choose to be there will depend greatly on whether you are more interested in entertainment or attractions - or both.
For instance, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are the days when you will have shorter lines for the attractions, because there will be fewer people there.
